NF 4C LP
The Extron NF 4C LP is a PoE powered 4" ceiling speaker system featuring scalable power, DSP, and Dante connectivity. Powered via PoE and capable of driving up to three external passive speakers from its integrated four channel amplifier, the NF 4C LP is a single‑cable solution for individual zones within larger distributed ceiling speaker systems. Using Extron’s DSP Configurator Pro software, the integrated DSP can be set up independently for each amplifier channel with essential processing per zone. Dante Domain Manager and AES67 support ensure wide compatibility with enterprise configurations and other network audio devices. Available in packages of one through four speakers, the NF 4C LP meets the requirements of complex, decentralized systems with a self-contained PoE powered speaker solution.
The 4" (102 mm) full-range driver features a wide and smooth frequency range of 110 Hz to 20 kHz and is engineered with a practical 135° conical dispersion. In voice lift applications, the NF 4C LP provides excellent coverage and voice clarity.
Dante Audio Networking
Dante provides scalable audio transport, with Dante Domain Manager support, over a local area network using standard Internet protocols. The family of Dante-enabled products from Extron work together as part of a complete networked audio system solution and integrate with other Dante-enabled products to create efficient system designs. With AES67 support, a variety of network audio devices and audio routing needs can be accommodated.
Setting up a network of Extron Dante-enabled products requires Dante Controller software. Dante Controller is used to easily assign an output from a Dante-enabled device, such as an Extron DMP Plus Series processor, to an input on an NF 4C LP.
Integrated DSP
A built in 4x4 mix matrix allows any Dante input to be routed to any amplifier output within a four‑speaker system. The integrated DSP provides essential processing including gain adjustment, filters, dynamics, and delay.

Dante Audio Networking
Dante audio networking provides digital audio distribution over local and wide area networking, using standard network hardware or by connecting into a standard network infrastructure. This provides many advantages, including audio system scalability, easier installation, and simplified wiring. Dante allows uncompressed high resolution digital audio to be distributed across a switched Ethernet network using standard TCP/IP protocols, while meeting the stringent quality requirements of professional audio.

A built in 4x4 mix matrix allows any Dante input to be routed to any amplifier output within a four-speaker system. The integrated DSP provides essential processing including gain adjustment, filters, dynamics, and delay.
Scalable Power
The NF 4C LP utilizes available PoE to scale the output of its internal amplifier. Depending on the number of passive speakers connected, a system can increase its maximum SPL by up to 8dB by increasing the system's PoE power. The chart to the right shows the possible combinations.

Application Diagram
In this hybrid classroom example, an NF 4C LP system is used for in-room voice lift of an instructor's voice from a wireless microphone. Also above the student area is a Dante-enabled ceiling mic array to pick up student questions for remote participants. Audio processing is handled by a DMP 64 Plus C AT with its USB connection to a PC running meeting software.Global Support
