The Extron IPL T CR48 is a compact IP Link^® control processor with integrated Web server, four contact input ports, and eight relays. It is designed to integrate IP - Internet Protocol connectivity into AV systems for Web-based remote control of screens, timers, lights, motion sensors, and more. Four contact inputs, TTL only, and eight normally open relays offer the ability to control a wide variety of products in an AV presentation environment.

GlobalViewer^® Web-based AV Resource Management Application

Extron GlobalViewer is the free, Web-based, AV resource management and control application designed specifically for IP Link Ethernet network interfaces. With GlobalViewer and the IPL T CR48, users can monitor and control projector lifts, screens, window shades, doors, and lighting systems — all from the convenience of a central monitoring station.

Supports industry standard communications protocols — All IP Link models use industry standard communication protocols, including ARP, ICMP, IP, TCP, UDP, DHCP, HTTP, SMTP, and Telnet.

E-mail notification enables proactive support — Technical support administrators and others can receive failure and service messages through an e-mail enabled cell phone, PDA, pager, or Internet e-mail account.

Multiple levels of access with password protection — User access level authorizes limited entry to only pre-designated functions, while administrator access level permits full access to advanced settings.

Simultaneous multi-user support — Each IP Link device supports multiple concurrent users, improving system throughput.

Free GlobalViewer®, Web-based AV resource management application — When used with GlobalViewer, IP Link control processors provide a powerful, flexible way to manage, monitor, and control both Extron and third-party equipment like projectors, plasmas, monitors, VCRs, DVD players, and other devices using a standard TCP/IP network.

Free Global Configurator, easy-to-use configuration software — Global Configurator software, a free Windows® based configuration utility, makes product setup simple and intuitive – no programming knowledge is required.

LED status indicators monitor activity of the device

Internal real-time clock — Programmable operating alerts, sequencing, and automatic monitoring, together with the real-time clock and calendar, allow IP Link control processors to routinely check configured devices.
