APPLICATIONS ENGINEER, HONG KONG

Responsibilities include extensive technical support and training to a large established base of professional A/V resellers and installers.

 

Qualified Candidates will have:

  • BSEE / BSCE Degree (transcripts required)
  • Relevant experience in the AV industry is advantageous
  • Ability to communicate concise and comprehensible presentations to small and large groups
  • Experience programming in ANSI C, HTML, JavaScript
  • Experience working with IT and computer networking
  • Knowledge of video and audio encoding/decoding, compression technology and experience with internet related technologies
  • Knowledge of streaming media protocols (RTP/RTSP/RTCP, HTTP, RTMP. IGMP)
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, computer literate
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment
  • Some travel will be required
