Extron Control Specialist - ECS

Extron Control Specialist - ECS certification introduces AV professionals to the fundamentals of configuring Extron control systems through a guided, hands-on project. Participants build a single display conference room control system while learning how to create and modify user interfaces using GUI Designer and integrate those interfaces into a control system using Global Configurator Plus. Throughout the course, learners gain practical experience with user interface customization and control system configuration.

The self-paced online format provides a flexible and structured opportunity to build confidence and competence in configuring Extron control systems. Through interactive learning modules, participants use Global Configurator Plus to create a single-display conference room project.

This certification includes a series of progressive courses that build foundational skills in AV control systems:

• Increasing Layout Efficiency with GUI Designer
• Configuring with Global Configurator Plus

Participants will complete all coursework at their own pace and demonstrate their knowledge through independent exercises and multiple-choice quizzes. Certification is awarded upon successful completion of a multiple-choice final exam.

This online certification is currently offered in English, French, Japanese, and Spanish.
