Extron Architectural Products Feature A New Look

Anaheim, California (June 9, 2004) – Extron Electronics announces a new look for the company's line of architectural interfacing, connectivity, and control products.

Extron products designed for surface mounting will now have beveled edges and sharper square corners similar to typical electrical wall plates. Silk-screening will be reduced and the silkscreen color will be a soft light gray. In comparison to Extron's previous architectural product design, the characteristic red line, white border, and rounded corners have been removed. The new look will make Extron control panels and connector plates less obtrusive for classrooms, boardrooms, and other environments where aesthetic considerations are paramount. "The new look is more subtle, allowing the technology to blend in better with the environment," says Lee Dodson, vice president of marketing for Extron. "Designers and installers will like the way our updated design can be used with any décor."
